RECENTLY WE GOT A BLIZZARD UPDATE WHICH CHANGED ALOT OF THINGS! THE NE UNITS PHASE MOVE WAS EDITED SO THAT IT ALLOWED SPELL DAMAGE! BAD BAD BAD! This feature has completely ruined the map Archery Tactics. This map has whole clans devoted to it... including mine! I wanted to assemble a team to get together and fix this problem! not only does the ability "evade" from within the map not work, but the ability to "fake" attacks has been removed somehow! This is cruicial to how archery clans play the game! If evade doesn't dodge spells then the move evade basically has no purpose and removes a major aspect of the game! I don't ask for much, and i can't DEMAND anything of you... but please PLEASE! I'M BEGGING SOMEONE IN HERE! PLEASE ASSIST! CLANS IN USEAST NEED YOU! You can download the map that needs fixing from this thread. |

I'll do it. If it isn't anything in the Object Editor, I can do it via triggers. I love AT, so I'll do my best. :D Edit I'll do it when I get home later today(leaving for school now). |

Thanx TheNyne, i'm sure my clan would be happy to assist you in beta testing the add ons u make. We are on USeast Server in channel Clan CTA1 I am the leader of the clan on the name CTA_MurderMan all help with this map fix will be very appreciated. |

Sythe - I still try to occasionally come on USWest. But also note that I am usually only on East when I do something like this, or have a spare moment(which is rare). MurderMan - I'll work on it now(just got home, worked on the float for my highschool's homecoming). I'll edit this post with the attachment, as soon as I get it fixed. I'll test it a little bit first though to be sure. I'll attach it here, and then go to clan CTA, and host it and whatnot. |

Errr... ok.. Im pretty sure that works..... All i did was import a "blank" spell icon (Just a black square) And when a unit begins casting evade, i triggerd it to give spell imunity (that is invisible and black from my import) , wait 1 second (as it the evade period) and remove it. I have to go now, so good luck with it! |

Okay here it is. I got it done yesterday, but after I did, I had to go straight to our new house to help paint/fix it up. And when I got home, I was tired so I went to sleep. But anyway, its attached here. Garith, I did mine similar to yours(I looked at yours before I posted), and it would work, but it would cause problems. Because if more than one archer casted the ability within that second, it would really screw up your trigger. All I did was add a unit variable(CasterUnit), and localized it. And used it instead of casting unit. Really, mine is almost exactly like yours. Ah wait, bogus. I can't attach because my browser doesn't load new windows(I could still do them if they have a stop button, but this one doesn't). So, I'll try to catch you on B.Net to give it to you and distrubute it. |

Thank you both for all your hard work! it's very much appreciated! once we fix evade, then we'll have to fix the Shoot Ability. What needs fixing? The shoot ability won't let u change your target once u've selected a target, Ex: If i click shoot on an area, and i change my mind before the initial arrow flies, i can't right click move, or click shoot and change my target... |
