1: your a newby try and use the unit editor then come back if you still need help

2:download a enhanced editor like Scios UMSWE 3.2

3:Read some tutorials then come back and ask if you still need help

The literate and grammatically correct way to say Weaadar's messege.

Wow, thanks for proving to be illiterate (note the spelling), and no I don't hate blink 182. I'm moving it to the development forum now, and since you posted it in the wrong forum, I won't help you.

5 mistakes. No offense, but next time you criticize someone's literacy, make sure that you yourself are.

Well anyway, here's the answers to your questions:

1. I don't think it's possible if you can't change the Shades attacking characteristics in the unit editor. Just create a new custom unit and make it look like a shade, but have it attack as well.

2. There's a special program you need to download to do this I think. Forget what it's called.

3. To make your own spells, you have to edit the MPQ files. Look at other posts.

Making 256x256 is possibly the easiest complicated thing to do. All you need is the WorldEditData.txt from the war3.mpq Just use an MPQViewer to extract the file into your WarCraft 3 Directory. Now, open the .txt file up with notepad or something and change the default and maximum map size to YxZ where Y and Z are numbers LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO 480.

No program needed.
