im fairly sure it works over b.net, WE is able to have 85 degree cliffs, juts not create them without the patch.

to get it to work, you just have to create a folder called UI in warcraft3 folder in program files and put it in there

Hey guys, now have i start to make my "dream" RPG but it doesnt goes as i want,
i have problems with the cam.
i dont wanna have normal cam cuz i dont get the good RPG feeling like it is in legacies.
well my terrian is insperated by blizzard thunder bluff and the green grass with the nice looking trees, i want a free RPG, like in world of warcraft.
well i can upload my map later if u want, someone maybe can help me to make this to a roxor RPG.

The things im thinking about is:
•should i keep the idea about thunder bluff, and still use same terrian?
•should i add like desert area? maybe orcs or maybe night elf city.
•are i able to make these things work? terrian/cam, or is this just a dream about a WoW styled copy in wc3?
plz tell me, i will upload the map when im coming home
( i want to keep the map clean as possible, no mass details so u get confused, but still has some smal minor deltails in the citys, like in legacies, trees/some grass/and texture/water.

Good terrain, but there is a major lack of doodads, also i was working on a rpg like this, and i used the 3rd person cam trigger system i found in the forums here. It works really well and raises as the cliff level raises, but the only problem i ran into was that when u used the raise/lower tool the camera didn't move up or down on the areas. But other than that it works really well.

Ill get you a link in a second.

Also, The camera was too low to the ground for me so i raised the camera and made the aoa (angle of attack) slightly increased so you could see all the terrain.

Edit:
OK here it is: 3rdpersoncam.w3x
Thats the actualy map that has the triggers for the camera, it uses arow keys to move the units which in my opinion is beter than the conventional click and move.

heres a link to the thread I found it at: 3rd Person Cam

Also your map looks fun, post it when your done with it.
