I hope you keep CPU resources in midn when you design teh random system. I've done my own random terrain generating algorithms and i had to bend over backwards 5 times to reduce lag to a manageable level. |

the thing about random generation is that you have to do it in small bits. My system had a 3 minutes loading time AFTER the map laoded. That is, the map loaded then you'd have to wait anohter 3 minutes as the random terrain was generated. |
