Models from roms

Lately I have been playing some roms and been thinking hey it would be sweet as hell if I could get these models for wc. Does anyone know how/if possible to extract models from roms?

-For those who dont know roms and games played on your computor that are illegaly taken out of game cartridges and put into format suitable for your computor.

Now, if they're 3D games (With a 3D engine), then you need an extractor to extract the model. I know some people did this with LoZ OoT, and managed to extract all of Kakiriko Village

Well, I guess you could consider most Playstation roms to include 3D models. If your talking playstation roms, there is probably a way to rip out the models somehow. If your talking like.. mario 64.. I dunno.

Not quite, roms arnt illegal, however there are conditions for their use. The two main conditions are you must have the game and you can only have it for 3 days.

I doubt there will be a way to get the propper extractors and converters, atleast not here. If you could find someplace that can help you get it to 3dstudiomax or someting then this site can get it into wc3. However you might have more issues after that if the textures are set up differntly, or if animations arnt compatable.

Yes I am talking 3d models, specifically I want models from quake 2, for the n64. Does anyone know how to exstract them or know anyhitng about how to extract or do it for me? Oh and roms are illegal if

A. You dont have game
B. Dont have producers permisson
C. and dont have legal rights to game

(i dont have any of these but im *cough* just wondering *cough*)

The only reason I'm asking for models from rom is because I havn't owned q2 for pc in a long time (lost it). But if someone could get me those models or needs rom to extract models my aim account is BnU Spitfire and my email is [email protected]
