ME TOO! Anyone know what files can be edited such that I could make an ALL category which contains all tileset doodads sorted by category: Bridges/Ramps Cinematic Cliff Enviroment etc. Or if this has already been done PLEASE POST A LINK |

after following your advise i checked doodads.slk nd found that I couldnt easily create a new category BUT as far as doodads are concerned, Village Fall is identical to Village tileset. Here is the file (attached) To install: place in war3/doodads/ directory To use: Village Fall is the ALL category if you want to use only village fall doodads, just check the village tileset, they are (were) identical. Also if a file already exists there, make a backup just to be safe ^^ |

my editor has all doodads non-tileset specific, and in the next patch, destructables wont be tileset specific either |

Guest | i think it`s way easier, in doodads.slk, go to column tileset, look at the 5th row (5C), every tileset is there, copy, select everything from C2 to C279, and press paste. Now every tileset contains thesame doodads i think. Once you save the file and put it into the folder "your warcraft 3 dir". I`m not sure about this one, but i think putting a * in the column means every tileset as well. Like in fish, and bird. |

I wouldnt call it bragging either. It would be bragging if he said "U suxxor, my map editor has all doodads in all catagories and yours has it in stupid village fall". That would be bragging, but hes just stating that his upgrade has it already, and most people wouldnt notice it. Nobody cares to check before they ask (i do it too) and that winds up with ppl making useless things. Its not bragging, its more of a method of preventing tons of useless stuff from showing up. |
