Cute test map--but give it a title so people can find it in their game list. And definitely remove the Melee Init triggers.

As for the mine system, well.. it's okay.

First of all, don't use a targeted spell base for a non-targeted spell! I click to plant a mine somewhere and it gets laid out right where the unit is standing instead. Either

A) Set the range of the spell to a small number (like 50-100) so the unit has to walk there, then cast the ability (in which case, plant the mine at the target of the location instead of where the unit is standing)

or

B) Use a non-targeted spell as the base (like Roar or Thunderclap)

Personally, I'd go with the second choice because I rather liked having a big goblin shredder walking around with mines being laid out as he passed. And this brings me to my second bug report.

The way your triggers are designed, you can't have more than one person using the mine ability at the same time. If the big dude starts laying out his 20 mines and then the medium-sized dude starts laying out 10--the big dude stops. This certainly makes no sense and should be fixed.

Lastly, your "C4" slow spell was just silly! There was no projectile, as the tooltip implied, and then the mine was just swinging back and forth like it was glued onto the footmen's hip. In fact, it was nothing like the tooltip implied. It was just the normal slow spell, but attaching a mine onto a unit's body. You could use an attack, ground targeted, with an arch that does no damage to simulate the mine being tossed into the air and landing where the person clicked at. Then give it an expiration timer. When the mine is destroyed (either through the timer running out or it being blown up) then a nerve gas is released to slow all organic units within a small area of effect. Now that'd be awesome to see

Overall, I'd say you have some fun ideas, but you have alot to learn in order to implement them well. Visit the trigger forums whenever you get stuck on something and look at other people's triggers in the Spell Archive -- especially those by Darky28 and Lord Vexorian.

Thanks for the advise! I will bear it in mind when editing the spells.
