making models

i wanted to make a model instead of dling them all the time but i have no slightest idea how or wat to use to make models can sumone post sum links and write a tut of how to make models ?

Those tutorials are nice, but for the basic I sugest getting Gmax or praying to god for 3ds max, then making a model of a box and animating it. Fast easy way to learn, just pick up tips from the foroum and tuts.
