New Rpg Map, Team needed.

I will need terrainer, moddler and skinner, and a hero creator like custom abilitys. i can do triggering and cinimatics.

• Horses-mounting abilitys-stables-buyable-saddles needed to ride-storage on horse.
• houses- cool stuff- storage
• Minigames- castle defence- heros defend players 1 and 2- rest of players till they get heros protect castle using castle forces.
• custom skins for hero
• classes- Archer- swordsman- mage- Thief- and Priest

Storyline- Five heros in the kingdom of Arachon search for the five treasures of Arachon witch they dont know yet belongs to to the five chosen heros (which are them, and that starts the sequal game.)

Dear, dear, Za... Zan... Zand.. Zano eh... Zamzar, I would like to welcome you first to wc3c. Seeing as these 2 are being your first posts. I hope you'll enjoy your stay, I am Fladian, right now, the moderator of the Team Gathering forum. Also apparently pretty popular among some people which I still don't understand why :P But that's not the point.

Even for an Open RPG, your story seems... bad. I'm an official story writer myself, so don't come to me saying that I don't know what I'm talking about. Because, I can probably talk better about it then about 99,9% of the forum.

You've posted no features at all. We only know it is an Open RPG, with a few things which you said with it. But that's really not enough. But to get to my point...

This must be your first project. If so, then I suggest dropping it. It's not... too big to start or anything, but joining a project before starting one, is always more useful. Just... take that from me. I got the experience of that hehe.

anyway, i can help you out with various things.
I have developed mi won sustem to give the hero's weapon in their hands and armour on them when they obtain it etc and i thought that it seems perfect for your map!

I can do the horse sadeling with a team of modelers and skinners.

Classes are not hard at all, so dont worry about that.

Im making a castle defence right now so i can certinly help you there

house storage.... seems possible.. might need a bit of help but shouldent be to hard...

Storage on horses is easy.

Mounting horses is posible.. very posible and should look Very impressive with the idea i have for it.. so that Do-Able

I can do basic to basic/moderate level skinning and can import models and skins fluently

erll.. vertex modifying.. yeah.. i can delete weapons and hero glow etc, but thats about it...

For anything else, i am pretty good at making FX. I change lumber icons and body decay time etc to make maps look good....

When youve started and need to get the answers to anything ive said, PM me and ill see what i can do...

I am sorry for not detailing and looking like a newb. but in a way i am i dont know how to modle and skin but i know how to import and trigger alot of things im good a placing doodads. Anyways back to my maps info.

Storyline- You start the game with a cinimatic, first a few scenes of the starting castle, then a scene saying as it fades out This is where our story begins, The next scene shows the king of Arachon and displays a series of scenes while having the king tell his guards to seal off the castle from attacks. and the guards leave and close the gates to the castle, then the screen fades out and says now we meet our heros(or something beter than that), and a dialog pops up with the classes: Archer, Swordsman, Mage, Thief, Priest. Then it fades in with the two heros talking about having to find away out of the castle. and they have a split in the cinimatic where u you can talk to the villagers and buy stuff with starting gold and gold u get from mini games, also u can talk to the king that will be a cinimatic and also u can talk to a few displaced pesants for hints to the certain exit. then when u find the exit (its a cave) when u get close to it it will start a cinimatic. with you and the second hero who ever it is, and they say stuff like god this was hard to find and then they enter the cave and shows them in the cave and player1's hero saying Geez what did we get our selves into, Player2's hero says what do you mean, Player1 "now we have to found our way out of here" cinimatic fades out and you have to find your way ou of the cave fighting goblins and stuff like that. **one special feature to come once maps finished item wise is save & load code** then once you get to the exit of the cave you find a fallen guard at the exit and he gives you a map. you and your partner cant read the map because its in elvish and your friend says that he has a friend in a town near by who can read it. so you travel to this town fighing critters along the way and when you reach the city you meet the next heros screen fades out and dialogs pop up for rest of players (3,4,5) then camera fades in and you find you and player2 are talking to his friend that can read elvish and he tells you that the map leads to the five hidden treasures of arachon hidden away from evil for 100 centuries and that they were made for five special people that will eventually come to save them from evil. then you find out that only one person can carry a stone if you have two of them you will die of the power it holds . then they say WAIT we only have three of us. then the friend tell you that e has some friend that would be willing to help and then he brings you to them and then you all meet together and talk about finding the 5 teasures and the tel you they would happliy join you on your journey and before you start the real gamming experience you have to help the people in the city to get some money..... and just to let you knoe thats a great tip to do lol
cause the first stone you have to buy through a series of items. and you have to talk to people for all the hints. oh in the second town and in following towns there will be stables for horses to be healed and stuff like that

You must get trained to attack on the horse to be able to attack while on the horse.if not u better run,lol

and being able to store horses in stables.
and special minigames like horse racing with your horses.

and more.....(hidden passages, dungeons, hidden trasures,ect)

My skills are Placing doodads apropritatly for sceneray cinimatics i am good with um and triggering i love to trigger.

I do Special Effects and "funky Things" for maps (constants, icons, display etc)
Im pretty sure i can do the horse things, but it might take some time, and i'd need a skinner and mabye a modeler....

I wouldent mind being in!

Fladian! Please :P Faladin is an other guy who walks around on wc3c. I wouldn't mind much if my name is differently spelled either by accident or on purpose, but Faladin is someone else.

With my "speak it out to understand" is the "mwaaaah" part, if you read it you won't know what I mean. If you speak it out it'll be a lot more clear ^^

I am always available to help with stories, missing the fact that I might leave the forum any day soon. For those who are interested, right now I'm chatting with my contact ^^ Though she's on school right now. But anyway, I am always fine to create a story, but it happens often enough that people don't ask for it ^^ and when I have to create a story for someone I need a tad help. No, I was just merely claiming that this thread is a month old. That was mostly my point regarding my last post, concerning the others, I am still reading of what I said... it's not like I remember it all...

Whitehorn, I am using stories to make a living out here, I am quite fond on it myself. Excluding the fact that my body feels like a living wreck, but that's something else.

As on a second thing, Whitehorn, I am not exactly writing names on purpose. During my entire life I've always suffered of a bad memory, (quite bad, not something which people just call "a bad memory" but something which will even be considered "bad" by those with a status, like doctors) and I'm exceptional bad with names. Whitehorn and Lord Duke are names which are not hard to remember though *scrolls up* Zanerican is a lot harder. If I was pretending I had a bad memory, I gladly would've stopped it, but it isn't just as simple to say, "I can't".

Lord Duke, I can take quite an amount of insults which are thrown at me, you really can't get me to understand by doing it. But regardless...
Lord Duke, I am not so sure how it is for you, but I got quite a life outside the net. It's pretty simple that I am fond on typing, - regardless of pain - talking, listening and not to mention writing (which falls under typing as well) that is one of the reasons why I stick here.

If people are bored by my words, then so be it. Not everyone is interested in what I say, some people ignore me, some people enjoy reading it, some people react positive on it, and some people start to insult me, I can't get everyone happy. Like I said before, "People will either love me, or hate me, there's nothing inbetween".

I am not exactly running away from my problems, nor would I run to the net for that. I am uninterested of what your opinion (of me) might be, but I gladly would keep the more "private" part of my life, private. As how well people might think they know me, there are only 2 members out here on wc3c who know me... who me well. (not to mention both of them being quite unactive)

I am not exactly a king out here. I am just doing what people asked me to do, I am supposed to keep the peace out here, as I am doing (with an exception of Void) well enough, excluding my off-topicness. But as I said, I can't make everyone happy.

How can you possible blame mispelling on bad memory when the user's name is right in front of you?

Simple, I don't really got it in front of me. I usually use the 'Quick reply' and don't want to scroll up to see the name. Usually I think of a way to remember the name easily by thinking of something which reminds me on the name, or just short it, but for some names it is hard to do.
To completely answer it, usually when I scroll up and read the name, it happens quite often that I forgot it by the time I want to write it. It doesn't bother me too often in threads with only one post (even though I use the "Home" and "End" button) but even then it still happens. You might find it unbelievable, but there are people with such kind of bad memories on this little planet...
