Question about some Variables

Is it possible to create a certain amount of units according to the integer the variable is? So if the variable was at 15, could I create 15 units just be using the variable?

For loop integer A- For each integer between 1 and <IntegerVariableOfMyChoice>
do:
Create 1 Footman at tempLoc facing blah blah blah.
