Resigning

I'm stepping down from mod position of this forum. Whoever wants to be mod can PM Cubasis and he'll decide. I've left a recommendation as to who I think would mod well, but I won't disclose that here. I'm letting the higher-ups decide.

Some things to keep in mind if you want to be mod. You'll have to take over the WT's. You can't be an ass to anyone. You should constantly offer feedback and crits (something I haven't been doing lately). Be on the lookout for new terrainers and correct them (gently now) and inform them if they accidently mess up every now and then in terms of forum rules. DON'T PARTICIPATE IN FLAME WARS. You should keep things civil if anything, and delete offending posts. Closing threads should be a last resort. I don't think I've ever closed a single thread, and one thread I did delete was a bad idea.

Being a mod isn't really anything special just to let you know. More work than being a regular user if anything.

I'll still be around, so it's not like this is one of those sappy "I'm leaving wc3c, I'm not appreciated" threads. I'm just focusing on more important things.

You've done a good job on the WT, but I too have noticed a reduced amount of posting from you and some other forum regulars.

Hopefully some random idiot isn't made a moderator...

Yeah... it's nice that you're all teary eyed and stuff lol, but I'm not going anywhere.

I suppose being a mod would be cool. Just for the hell of it, I would like to ask for the mod spot, unless I am too late and already missed it. I am not really in the mood to read other threads at the moment, and I don't want to research the fact that someone is a new mod, or whatever. Just let me know and I will shut up. o_O

Reasons why I believe I would be a good terrain forum mod:

•I have experience with modding forums (I was a mod on the Demise of Brotherhood forums, unbiased and very nice, keeping helpful critisism up and mean critisism low/unexistant)
•I give helpful hints to all terrainers, and I have never put down a terrain in a bad way ever since I joined these forums (You can look at all of my posts for proof)
•I have no bad rep-marks, and people seem to respect me
•I am part of the art gallery and have posted many terrain/scenery art pictures
•I am good at making Weekly Terraining catagories and themes (In fact, I ran the Weekly Terrain section on my Demise of Brotherhood forums, when I was the mod.)
•I am fair and unbiased
•I had wc3campaigns set to my homepage, not too long ago (I recently changed it, upon request from a friend of mine, saying that was a stupid thing to do, and it now stands as google)
•omg i am teh 1337 A+ student!!!111one111
•I have good manars and grammar online and otherwise (Not that it matters)
•I am not a blundering idiot
•I took the time to write this
•I have access to a computer a lot, so I can always keep watch on the forums
•I am a good terrainer, almost forgot about that
•I have a cool name that people will learn to know and love
•I love you all
•I am milkin' it now, and I realize this, so I will stop.


Consider it, that's all I ask.

After realizing I am a complete idiot, I am editing this to show that I indeed acknowledged the fact that I was supposed to send this to Cubasis, privatly, and not post it here and take up posts and webspace, no matter the size/ammount.

id heard that youd taken up concept art a lot more, and were doing less and less terraining, so i follishly jumped to the conclusion that this would be the end. but its good to hear youll still be around. this forum dosnt keep older members as well as some others do unfortunatly

Well, more like art in general. I'm taking ap art this year, so I get to draw alot. I'm not sure if I'm ready to give up doing the WT's yet though. If anything I'll still be giving them out, just some other suckers gotta clean up after me hehe.
