Inspring Music?

Anyone here play certain music while creating terrain? I find a couple diablo 2 themes like these pretty good...

I also find songs with just some simple guitar good like Stairway to Heaven, Hotel California and most Nirvana songs to be pretty good.

Gladiator and Lord of The Rings soundtrack are pretty good as well.

The problem is I've listened to these songs over and over and gotten quite bored of them, I was thinking of trying out some orchestra music but I'd thought I'd ask here first if anyone knew some good stuff...

I like the techno remix for requim for a dream. It's pretty neato. Also Mozart's Requim.

End of all things from the Return of the King soundtrack, from 1 minute and 8 seconds to 1 minute and 56 seconds. Its the most tranquil music I have ever heard, I heard that a lot. Very useful when making forests and such..

but my music ranges from Heavy Tecno to tunes such as Stairways to heaven and Enya.. A lot of different genres

This is a topic about inspiring music that helps you terrain, it has nothing to do with the sound forum. Either way I might try some classical and pink floyd and I'll try searching for some more Han Zimmer music

I've recently started to listen to Switchfoot and Modest Mouse. Some songs seem like they would be inspiring.

R you talking about Requim for a Dream the movie? Cause that's one of may favorites. I listen to Old Rock and Alternative but like with homework, I start listening too much to the music and draws attention from the actaully terrain.

well i get good results when i listen to a music that fit with the theme im trying to create

Therion- Vovin,Secret of the Runes,Crowning of Atlantis...

And all of the Baldur's Gate 1&2 music and of course Vampire the Masq. music...

Edit:...damn, how could I forget Heroes of MM 3 music?!
