K, Im putting my thoughts into text for the first time so this may seem a bit random. Bascily, I am making a map, that crosses a Civlization style game with Age of Empires and Age of Kings. The terrain is a map of the world. The camera is zoomed in to max, and all units/structures are scaled down to 0.10, this makes the units look normal but the map HUGE. Also all units move speed and sight have been reduced as well. There is a Leaderboard that says the year, starting in 3000bc. The year will change every X(undecided minutes, any one have any ideas) 12 Each player starts with 2 Tribal Hunters and a tribal leader(Hero) Placed at random spots in africa. All major land marks will have Beacons. Bigger Landmarks will have 2+more beacons. For example the Nile has 2 Beacons, Upper and Lower Nile. If you build a settlement(+10food+5gold/year Can only be built on beacons) on 1 you get +20 food and 20 gold every year. And so on. Controlling Land Marks will also let you train units. For example the Saharah Desert lets you train camels. You get gold by Killing Wild Animales:Lion/Bear Wolf...... Killing Domesticaed Animals:Cow Pig Dear.... Settelments Landmarks Also each settelment gives 1RP((wood)research point) which can be usede to research techs, as soon as you finish researching a tech, you get ur RP back. You win by making all enemys submit too you, or killing them. With submition a player types -SubmitX x=Player number Then a fourth of that players gold goes to X every year. What I need help on is designing a tech tree, and differnt ideas for land marks. |

Guest | Techtree: Settlement-Farm-Barrakcs-Siege-Shipyard-Upgrade-Market With each time period, an upgrade is automatically researched for all players, that will change all their units and buildings (like Troll Berserker Upgrade). |
