Well I want to remove a buff for this spell, but the remove specific buff trigger is shit, it doesn't work. Any ideas on how to do this? Thanks for the help.

Remove specific buff didn't do anything. And does WEU upgrade auto along with the patches, or not at all, or just manually? And where can I get it?

Remove Buff works, but keep in mind that a buff is purely graphical. If you want to remove the actual effect of a buff--say the armor bonus from Inner Fire--well, you can't. Its a very annoying limitation. You can create a reasonably versatile custom buff system using invisible passive abilities and scripted effects, though.

You were probably not using the right buff in the trigger, or you want to remove a buff of an aura or something like that, in that case remove the aura not the buff

Or you weren't using the right unit.

You are wrong, when you remove inner fire's bug it also removes the armor bonus.

Gah, so it does, thanks for the correction. I could've sworn it didn't used to remove the effect of buffs. Did that change at some point, or am I just insane?

You're insane.

I thought too though that buffs were just graphical, the reason they were under Buffs/Effects. Or maybe the remove buff trigger functions not only to remove the buff, but also the effects. Wait, does that mean I'm INSANE!

when editing the ability, they are just graphical, but in game they control the duration of the ability too
