I am working on a map in my campaign and I am a little noobie on the terrain point. So I thought I could post some screens and you guys could tell me if something should be changed or added. :) Plz only constructive comments no stuff like: "OmG j00 sux I = G0sU!" :D
No but seriously I just want some tips so I can learn more advanced stuff in the editor.
Thanks inadvance :)

You are exactly in the same situation that me,well now that it isn´t the important, well i think you are a good terrainer, but in the screen of the right (if you got 1024x768,cause thats my resolution) out the vilage it was absolutly nothing, and i hope you fix that, then you could add more doadods, some fences, passive creeps, etc.Well here is my opinion i hope i helped you ^_^

well, ur doing a good job so far, add more enviormental doddads like shrubs and vines, as for the city....its a bit flat, and not much besides houses, so again more doodads, like benches and things like that, also a bit flat

Thx for the tips/comments, I will add doodads that thing's for sure :). As for the creeps; it's not supposed to be any creeps at the locations of my screens... It's just the first mission if my campaign so there isn't much action just a introduction to the rest of the campaign. But I will add some orcs and stuff when another forest is done in the middle of the map :)
I didn't really understand the thing about the screen... :p

As I said before in the answer to drcclerigo; I will add more doodads. But the tips about the city are very good... I didn't think about it until now. thank you! ^_^

I have another screen from the map that I forgot in the first post...
It is a screen of a bridge over some water(duh!). It is very boring but I don't know what to put there to make it look better. :(

Well, thx! I do have MSN messenger and my e-mail is: [email protected]. But I am not so sure if I am the right person to ask to do terrain... It's not that I don't want to but I am not sure I am good enough to do terrain to such a serious project (as I think it is ^_^ ) Have you asked anyone else to do it for you? IronI3lade seems very anxious(sp?) to do terrain ^_^ .
But if you really want ME to do it for you so hey, why not :)
You can add me at msn if you want.

That sounds like a very good idea :)
But I don't really need any help right now but maybe later when the terrain becomes more complicated...
But this map I am doing is just one map in a whole campaign and I wont put it on battle.net, I will just show it for my friends and let them play it...
So the only "credit" you might get is reputation on this forum by me.
I think we will talk some more in the future... :)
cya!
