world of yu-gi-oh

i dicied to make a yu-gi-oh map cause i was watching my cosin play a couple a days ago an i was think why hasnt andody made and rpg yet so ya i decided to make on if u have any ideads i be happy to add them and i do the best my self
i would need some help not to much mabye if peple want costom models mabye but then i need person that can do that cause im not that good at skining and modeling

No. Not because I dont like YuGiOh but that type of game system will be extra difficult to successfully pull off using the War3 engine. If you decided to make an RPG using the characters and monsters, that would be able to do. But not the card game.

That's exactly why no one has done it yet.

If you seriously want to pull this off and actually make it cool do the following:
-A Way to hold all your cards to hold you cards
-Buy Packs it gives you a random 10 cards

I'm not quite sure how to make it so you duel though... It's gonna be tough as hell... Now that I think of it though, A save Load code would be badass but you'd have to limit them to like 25 cards... And a deck is made up of 60 cards I think... I'm not quite sure how the card game is played, but I've seenthe show before and it looked difficult to create.

Ya know why the idea isnt smart? COZ ITS BASED ON THE ANIME! Ive gotten so mad at American YGO fans (well... im an American YGO fan... but thats not the point) because they watch that stupid, stupid, stupid translation of a classic manga on Kids WB. They changed 98% of the names and switched the emphasis on cards rather then Yugi beating the crap out of people in various other shadow games. If you want to read the original story, which I highly suggest you do, you can find it in the monthly Shonen Jump.

It's nothing against you personally dbz_lord, its just that the anime is... less than perfect... and the card game is overused. The map structure looks good, and if you would like help, PM me.

I personally dont think this is a good idea. However, designing your own card-ish thing NOT based on the lame show might be good, more original. Also don't try to do save code..... it'll ruin your life.

About the cards: Good luck. I don't see a bright future for this, even though it sounds good. It is gonna take a hell of a long time to get this map even 50% done, let alone completely done.

actually the save code is easy however the amount of work it will take to save all your cards! not only that it would be laggy and take a lot of game space
