i also want to know whats the mechanics of morph-able units in war3 engine. and if i desire, can i make a model with more than two morph? thanx in advance! |

what is a morph editor? o_0 well if you want a morphing unit that is 2 units in one, add the "morph" animation tag that changes the unit to the other. And therefore the "morph alternate" to switch back. |

he's asking for morph animations you need to make both of your models as one and use the visibility track to make each model visible and invisible at whatever animation key you want basically, the regular model would have the keys "Stand - 1", "Attack", "Death", etc. the morphed model would have the keys "Stand - 1 Alternate", "Attack Alternate", "Death Alternate", etc. |

ok i got it thanx guys also i want to know, if i want to do a morph like a regular unit slowly turning into a really big beast (perhaps 5 times bigger than the original one), and i want the morphing process going very smooth, without being busted out, say nobody notices the original unit is actually replaced with the big beast (here i use morph ability as example), how to do that in 3ds max? Is it achievable? thx! |
