How do you make it so you can have 2 textures on the same model that you made. Everytime I use Dex Script in Gmax and I look in the mdl file it says there is only 1 texture and only one material. How do I make more than 1.

I believe there to be already a tutorial on it here:

http://www.wc3campaigns.com/showthread.php?t=60744

Read it, and if you have any questions I'm sure someone more experienced than me should be able to help you.

I think it's not what he meant. You have to make several geosets (sub models), each geoset can only use one material so I guess if you can't add new materials it's cause your model only has one geoset, subdivise it in several geosets of which you plan each one to use a specific material and it should work.

Are sub models like different meshes in the wc3 model?

I think yes, I'm not a modeler but from what I've seen I think meshes and geosets are synonyms.

I use more than one mesh in my model. But it still says there is only one texture.

Like some of the models off of wc3sear that people made from scratch (instead of using the cheap method where you make a different skin for an existing unit), alot of them have more than one texture. Like most of killst4r's models have more than one texture on THE SAME MODEL not that sub model crap in that tutorial.
