You should make your drawings alot less conufsing because like this its hard to see anything thats going on, especialy when the armor on the guy's is divided into a bunch of squares. The person throwing the grenade seems stiff because you dont throw something that way, your arm still bends at the elbow even though not much. And the fingers on the first guy, on the hand that's supporting the gun, they need to be longer. And the background makes things alot more confusing and I would advise to get rid of it because its the same color as the people and pretty much the same value. |

Presketch Shadow... it will help alot. When you presketch then you can make sure that the poses look right. The pose must flow properly before you flesh out the figure. And draw MORE!!!! The more you draw the better you should get. The PS effects kinda blow dude... if you had stylized it using your mouse for action lines and deformations within the base picture... then it would look much better. The lines are a bit unrefined... and you should be able to fix that. BTW... wacom or still mouse? Just remember to pre-sketch. Just remember... if this is what your femme is turning out like... then you don't have a ghost of a chance. icbm1987 |

might wanna check the pose the hand shouldn't extend all the way to the other side of the cannon so just have the fingers appear pose looks a little passive, try rearranging the legs a little, it doesn't seem like he's getting a recoil from the shot |

wait i didnt even get what you said about the fingers, could you rephrase that? |
| 10-08-2004, 08:10 PM | #10 |
the hands shouldn't show, only the fingers try positioning your hand like that on er... a textbook for teh cannon looks weird huh? |
