Warhammer Dark Elf

Howdy, it's been a while since I've posted any work. This is a Dark Elf Crossbowman that I have been working on for the last few days. Part of a request for Warbands 2 and Storm of Chaos. It isn't really a wip but C&C welcome as always, especially from any 'dark elf' officianados. It will be in the download section as soon as I remove some unwanted Geoanims. I hate Elves !!!.

Dark elfs... o_O Awesome! All good. Only that the chest plate is a bit blurry and the robes are a bit plain. Maybe more shadows and a bit of dirt?

In my opinion, the armor could use a lot more work. Nice ring mail.

The skin needs work it lacks details. It looks very blurry sharpen it up. Make folds in the cloth for a more realistic feel. Add scratches and dents to the metal. The lines in the armor are too dark and too bold. Thin them out. The chainmail looks bad just make white cloth or something.

Yep, I suck at skinning anyway. The cloth and plate armour will get some heavy shading work this evening and I'll fix the chest armour (meant to be blended shadows). It is dark elf armour so I won't add any battle damage atm (They are neat freaks after all). The chainmail is part of the concept I was working from but I'll do a little dodge and burn on it and hope it looks better.

Thanks for all the great suggestions, I'll get to work on him. To be honest I've never skinned plate metal so I'll have to figure that out.

Never skinned platemail armour before? then i got a good ol' whitehorn tutorial for ya! i think i still got it here somewhere... there!
