Art tools w/ GMax

Do the blizzard art tools work with GMax. (GMax is a broken down version of 3dsMax so I'm not quite sure, there are many similarities between the two).

gmax is an stripped down version from gmax made by the same company ( discreet )
unfortunatly blizzard art tool only work with 3ds max, and i think 3ds 6 and higher.

However, check out the Modelling and Animation forum on ways to use GMax just as good as 3dsmax with War3 models (DeXScript!).
