WT 21: Dark decends through the promised land

Thanks to Gitlich for this weeks challange.
If you feel like you got this realy great idea (Just like Gitlich did) then feel free to post your suggestion in the brainstorming thread.

As mentioned the challange is "Dark decends through the promised land" and I realy got no idea how this could look exept for it being cool.

Actually, when I come to think of it. I do think I got something in mind..

Maybe you should like give a descripition of what exactly Dark Decends is or what exactly it is were suppose to terrain...

I had no idea what to do, lol. Too me quite a while and its still not complete. But thats all i could be bothered to do.

There are 2 ss. One of the promised lands and one of what i thought were dark decends.

Does it piss you off if i tell you i don't exactly get it? cause i don't. perhaps it's because the titel was kinda weird. i like the trees a lot, but i don't like the castle. looks ok overal i think...

I think what he's implying is that a holy and sacred land is turned to evil and corruption.

I don't see any evil/corruption, thats my point :\

Hmmm. The word 'decends' doesn't actually exist. I think Pheonix meant either 'descends' or 'descent'.
So the phrase would most likely be either 'Dark descends through the promised lands' or 'Dark descent through the promised lands'. IF those two were what he meant, then i probably interpreted it wrong when i was making the terrain. I'll probably submit another terrain depending on what Pheonix acknowledges as correct.

What i interpreted it was that as long as there was some dark areas and a promised land then it would fit the criteria. I didn't actually think there would need to be corruption, just something dark. And the dark areas were the trees.

dont look at me. i havnt got a clue :P

the phrase comes from a song by mark lanegan and josh holme. when i think of it, i see a green and lush vally slowly being consumed by a shadow. or a city in turmoil. whatever comes to mind when you think of the tital should fit. i always enjoy WT's where everyone has a differant interpretation of of the theam (seeing as this sint a comp, noone really needs to compare the entires)

this is my first WT. It's still a WIP and i guess i wont finish in time so i just decided 2 post it.

I looked at the first pic and thought: "looks alright, but has nothing to do with the subject". then i looked at the second and i thought: "aaaaah, that's the clue!" ;) . looks nice but a bit empty, specially the Night elf side.
