Need Trigger Assastance A.S.A.P

Hey,

I was wondering if there is a way with triggers, to change what the "Upkeep" box in game says. Like normally it says when you start "No Upkeep" and has a little drop down when you put your cursor over it that says "No Upkeep 0-50" or something like that and "Low Upkeep 50-75" ect. Is there a way to change that with triggers?

No.You can only change them on the Game Interface options.

Along the same lines, I was looking for a way to display the upkeep message, and a way to completely clear out the hover box. If anyone has help on any of those rep points will be given.

You could generally change the upkeep of the player to what you wanted displayed. Or you could have

Game - Text message explicatly timed "(beginning upkeep message(player 1 upkeep)(ending upkeep message)))

If you know this then howd you not know how to change upkeep?!?!??!

I want to completely change the Upkeep box. Like say Misc ammo Magnum : 10
Sniper : 5 something like that.

In editor, go to Advanced -> Game Interface. Look for upkeep fields. To get rid of the pop-up text, don't leave the field blank, but leave it like this: "". You can also add several upkeep levels (up to 15 I think), so you can have 15 different texts depending on the food used, and then, in triggers, change the food usage to display a different text in the upkeep box.

Well, first of all, when you change the value of their in a trigger it doesn't display the message.

Second their upkeep message is in big font centered top. A normal game display message won't cause this.

Third, their is no clear-cut tooltip interface option. They have one part of it I can clear, but the other parts are not in there.

@Minigjrk or whatever: You go to Advaned | Gameplay Constants, and go to Text - General, and at the bottom are the No Upkeep, Low Upkeep, High Upkeep, High Upkeep 2, High Upkeep 3 etc. Change those to whatever you want.

P.S. You can't change the value in game though, so i'd suggest not having it display ammo then.

Yeah, someone already said that and thats what i wanted :-(
