1. I saw that theres a maximum of hero skills you can assign per hero. That maximum is 5. Is there a way to make it bigger? 2. Is there a way that i can take off the Patrol button so i can replace it with another skill, since the patrol button in my rpg is useless and id rather use it's space for something else. 3. I made a melee hero, and i created a spell like Searing arrows although with a different graphic. Now i want that spell to be used (autocast on) as an alternative to melee combat, just incase its too danderous to get close. The only problem is that the hero still goes fighting melee style, although the spell has its effect (more dmg). Is there a way to make so that when that spell is enabled, the hero can shoot it from a range instead of like his primary attack ? |

1) Sorry apohphis is wrong its hardcoded to allow you to only have 5 hero abilities. 2) You can move patrol to be pushed off by attack, but I like patrol 3) Ask someone like nicoli.. |

i did change button positions, what im saying is that you can have a max of 5 HERO spells, and some more normal spells with that. I was asking for a way to push that 5 hero spell limit higher, but it looks like its hardcoded in the game. all i need the patrol button to go away for is cuz i want to be able to have 7 spells in total, now i can only have 6 cuz of the patrol button, and cuz of the skill point button. i want to keep the skill point button, but the patrol button is taking up a space, and in my rpg you dont need patrol. |

Jpfat I suggest looking for the commonfunc.txt I think and move patrol to where attack is. Becareful it might push attack off though so... |

thx man i was just looking for that file. Ill try to dump patrol over hold position or something |

ok now im having trouble here. I set patrol to overlap hold position through commandfunc.txt, but it pushes attack down to the other row, and i end up with the same problem i had in the first place. can anyone explain how to force patrol over something, or i dunno, so i dont get anything on the second row xept the spells and the skill point button. |

Guest | -The game adds buttons in a set order, starting with "move" and the other basic command buttons. -If a button tries to take an occupied space, it gets bumped one slot right; if it reaches the end of the row, it goes to the first slot in the next row. It continues until it finds an empty space. -If a button gets bumped all the way off the last row, it vanishes and its hotkey won't work. For example, if the attack button gets bumped off, you can still attack units by right clicking on them, but you have no button and no hotkey, so you can't have the unit attack to an area. ...So, if you want to get rid of a button, put it in the bottom right corner (3,2) and put a higher priority button in the same spot. This works for any button except the move button, which is the first button the game places. |

you could remove both, patrol and attack because with right/left mouse click you can execute attack command. |

Yeah, but Attack-move is vital to survival, and you CAN'T do that with the mouse alone. -Insaniteus- |

actually at first i got rid of the attack button , but i decided to keep it this way since that way you cant force fire on certain things i dont want to be destroyed. :) |
