Hi all, I have a question for all you box modelers...

im trying to get the hang of box modeling, aaaaand i just cant seem to get it right. my models always turn out to be more "box-like" than say... bloodslaughter's or White's models. they apprear to be more triangular, mine have too much of a boxy feel to them. ill show you what i mean.

any suggestions? (btw, thats a troll foot+leg)

thanks.

use tessalate or cut to make more verticies to make it less boxy.

damm don't think tessalate works with gmax, cut maybe. try dling the 3ds max trial ver and use ms smooth in the part you want to have more shape (don't use it to much)

well i made 1 in box modelling. i made it in 30 secs and added sm smooth, it looks good but to poly, is better for heros. Anyway it is out smoothed since i selected the element and not the poligons i want to smooth
