Map Project - Madness!

I've been working on a map project, Madness! The map consists of different aspects of some popular maps, of which are Gladiators, Defense of the Ancients, Aeon of Strike, and Footman Frenzy.

Here is what I've thought up...

Players
  • Two teams of six will have bases, located in the top left and bottom right of the map.
  • Each player has their own main building (Frenzy) which spawns units according to what buildings are built around it (AoS) with the default being tier 1 melee and ranged (ex. footman and archers).
Units
  • The units spawned will automatically charge into battle (DotA)
    -I'm not sure about this one yet, a player's units may not necessarily go the direction the player's hero is, and that may prove problematic if the player prefers his units with him but wants to be in a different path.
  • The units can be upgraded in defense and strength, or upgraded to the next tier (Frenzy)
Heroes
  • Each player gets a hero. They may be summoned from the team's portal (works as Altar) inside the hero area (DotA).
  • Custom heroes and spells will be used, but decision on whether or not to also use regular heroes with edited spells (Frenzy) shall take place later on.
  • After a set amount of time, a 1 vs. 1 hero battle (Gladiators) will take place in the center of the map. The winner will get a double(?) bounty upon victory.
Items
  • NO AGILITY TOME ABUSE.
  • There will be an item system (DotA)
And so far for my hero development:

Sir Anduin Lothar (WC 1 & 2) - Human Regent Lord - Strength
Spells:
Shield Bash - Works like a Close Ranged Stunbolt
Warcry - Works like Battle Roar, increases Defense and Attack damage by a set amount
Righteous Fury - Works like Critical Strike
Ultimate - ???

Blackhand the Destroyer (WC 1 & 2) - Orc Warchief - Strength
Spells:
Shockwave
Howl of Terror - decreases Attack (by percentage) AND Defense (set amount)
Cleaving Damage
Ultimate - ???

Malfurion - Archdruid - Intelligence
Spells:
Earthbind
???
Thorns Aura - Works really like Spiked Carapace (includes adding defense, unlike the real Thorns Aura)
Force of Nature - Transforms Malfurion into an Owlbear

Malfurion - Owlbear Form - Strength (currently not working)
Spells:
???
???
Thorns Aura - as said above
Druid Form - Transforms back into Druid

I'm doing this for my Clan, clan d0om, which is having a map making contest. I'm not sure if I'd be able to finish this map by the 20th (due date) on my own though, with all the triggers involved. So far I've just thought up what is above, did some actual terrain work and created the heroes. If anyone is interested in helping, plz contact me.

Not bad but its starting to fell like its a footman warsish aeon of strife if you know what i mean.

Sounds really good. Two things, 1) You could make it a "no tome" maps, to avoid abuse. With tomes, 1 player seems to stack on tomes, creating a huge imbalance. DOTA doesn't have tomes, and it's the most popular map on US West!
2) Also like DOTA and Rival Nations, maybe make a computer control the normal soldiers. Or else not make them charge into battle.
