I'm always looking for well produced, original and themed concepts to use for new units. An ongoing Mod that I am working on, sometimes referred to as 'The Abyss' or 'Magescape' is needing some more creative ideas for units. Currently 4 racial themes exist: The Rictus: Cryptic Undead and Demons, with inspiration from Gothic and Egyptian sources. Think liches, shades, monoliths. Here is a sample >> Eviscerator The Iron Nation: An unholy alliance of Dark Dwarves and Goblins who use machinery and steam power to augment their armed forces. Robots, machines, tanks and robotic armour (at its most primitive and hazardous). Here is a sample >> Smokernaut The last two races are somewhat ambiguous, as a few ideas have been floating around. Ideas include Draconians (Dragon-folk), Sidhe (Nature and spirits), and some kind of angelic hierarchy. The last two races were sidelined to allow concentration on the first two. This post will likely get skimmed, but I promise you that any decent concepts will more than likely be made. Anyone taking further interest can contact me for further information. |

I so badly wish the Eviscerator was an actual unit in WC3:TFT... Some reason the Smokernaut's link dosen't work. The Eviscerator is one of the very few models I've seen that is textured like WC3. I think I might post a couple of images and ideas here... :) |

Call it the "Smokerkraut" and I might think about it. That eviscerator looks sick. Might get a sticky if it falls off the page too fast. Any timeline for this? or is the "deadline" elastic? icbm1987 |

This is ongoing... at least according to White, It won't be locked until it's really really old. |
