Msg to triggering player - how?

I need to send a message to a triggering player/owner of triggering unit, but i can't figure out how to do that! Hewp, please!

The message to force set to a specific player seems to desync the game!
You will be looking at going into custom text and finding the sendmessagetospecificplayer function in its the visuals api section.

Maybe that's what causes the desync on my ww3 map. When it sends the text to a certain player. Only happens sometimes though.

Perhaps we should start a list of all known actions, etc., that may cause desyncing.

make sure you put "(no desync)" af the end of the option in the list..

what about send to all players matching condition and have owner of triggering unit equal to matching player?

I've got a question... If I used player groups, with only one player say, and I sent a message to that group would it still desync?
