Well I had enough free time to contruct a totally original map that I tried to make in SC (VERY hard to do) and it didnt get around to being complete. So I'm making it in WC3, and its going beautifully with the exception of a few errors. What is this map? Cecil's Maze Maker (name might change if I think of something cooler) Heres the breakdown on what you do. This map isnt for newbs btw, it has more than one purpose in it :D There are up to 4 maze runners and 1 maze maker (guess their role) The Maze Maker cuts a maze out of trees that roughly take up about half the map. One fourth of the map is the player control panel, I'll get that down in a miniute. Now I figured that while the maze is being built, the Maze Runners will leave whithin the first 5 miniutes of the game out of sheer boredom. So the other quarted of the map is a playing arena for a madness they can play so they dont get bored. It's a standard madness, every 50 kills you get a special unit. However, this is where it links the madness to the maze. Every kill gets you 1 gold, and with the money you earn doing good in the madness, you purchase upgrades in the control panel for your maze runner (a DH with skills that increase speed and also the sleep skill) Upgrades such as a wand of illusion to set out a dummy runner to go first to take the hits from the mines laid down by the maze maker (yes, he can lay down up to 8 mines) With the money made you can also purchase extra lives. The maze maker, when done cutting down his trees, forging a new, different maze every game will use the control panel to order a unit to confirm that you are finished with the maze (I will impliment a text trigger for this later) and the maze maker unit dissapears with the "end of the maze" tower. And after that, they run the maze! Its a mix of strategy and luck based on the players you play with, you never play the same game twice! EDIT: I am now having problems with the cinnematics, says it is missing a function...any help ppl? Another error seems to come and go, which is when you lose your life you lose the game, sometimes it works sometimes its so-so. Check it out. eh, only problem I see with this is that all the player will have to do is right click on the other side of the map and war3's pathing will get them straight through the maze :p To do the gold thing, simply enable bounty. Then all you have to do is create a variable, and setup a trigger likes this: Event Every 2 seconds Action Variable = Player property, player's current gold |

I know that about just clicking where the finish is on the maze and theyll run right to it, thats why I made it so the maze maker places the finish, so that wont happen ;) |

Guest | well I playtestted your map some times and looks quite good... did the trigger I gave you work? Try using wood instead of gold for the upgades that would make things easier with the kills trigger.... |

OK, got it ALL to work now! All I need to work on is the cinnematics and it goes gold :D |
