chain lightning attack building?

i'm trying to figure out how to get chain lightning to target structures. i tried changing the 'targets allowed" by putting checkmarks besides structure and whatever else might pertain to building.. and did no good. i must be missing something.

any clue?

I don't know about Chain Lightning specifically, but some abilitity behaviors are hardcoded regardless of what you change the fields to.

you could make all the building "unit types", so then the game won't know they are actually buildings, but that might screw something else up.

To make chainlightning hit structures, not only do u have to check structures in tagets allowed, you have to uncheck organic.
