Hey, Is there a way, with triggers, to modify a units range? How would you do this? -Miningjrk P.S - This is probably a stupid question, but I need it answered as soon as possible. |

There are some ways, but they are imprecise: 1 - Using an upgrade, then using the Player - Set Current Research Level action, but don't even think of "unresearching" the upgrade, cause it is impossible. 2 - Replacing the unit with other, I don't think this is the best way to do it. 3 - If the unit is a Hero, then you can give it a orb abillity, orbs enable the hero second attack, you can modify them on the object editor. Don't try modifying their acquisition range, cause it does not work. |

Just FYI, all units have a second attack. So any unit can be given the orb ability to enable a 2nd ranged attack. That's kinda how the MG's tree smash thing works. |

I thought orbs only enable the second attack off Heroes... How stupid I am... |

Acquisition range is the range where a unit can target another unit and chase after it. I want it where i can change how far the unit can shoot with triggers. -Miningjrk |

if it cant target u, it cant shoot u. |

Acquisition range is completelly unrelated, if there are other units with greater acquisition range close to a unit with few, the unit will be able to attack |

Arrgh, I want to with triggers, increase a units range! Like with the archer, in normal game you can get the bow upgrade that increases the archers range by 100. I want to do that with an item, you get the item, your range is incresed...you drop it it goes back to normal. Somebody please tell me how! |
