Guest | I am currently hoping to create an RPG based on the popular Castle Builder maps for WC3. The problem is I am no good with triggers, unit editing, and the like. I am looking for one or two people who would be willing to help me in this endeavor. Here is my idea: -You are the lord of your land (the map is epic, so you would have plenty of room to build) and you must forge an empire out of the land. There is a main continent with a mountain, highlands, desert, plateaus, bays, etc. There are also surrounding islands that players can build on. -Players start the game Allied and will set alliances as the game progresses. The point is to expand your lands and be the dominant force in the land. -I want to utilize a system in which players could send supplies to their allies. But rather than using the default WC3 system, I want players to have to load boats with supplies and then drop the supplies off at allied ports. You could do the same with caravans to take supplies across land and drop them off at allied markets. But, alas, I am no good with building any of this. I have already designed the terrain. I just need some people who would be able to duplicate the Castle Builder system and add the new features in. I think it goes without saying that these people would get a spot on the map credits. ANY AND ALL HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! EMAIL OR PM ME IF YOU WANT TO HELP!!! THANK YOU!!! ^_^ |

Guest | Well, I came here to ask for help. I've tried tons of WC3 communities and none could offer services. I didn't think that the number of posts would affect whether or not I could get help, but seing as it does, let me go spam some :). I'm just kidding about the spamming. However, I wanted to let everyone who reads this know that just cause I'm new to the site does not mean I'm a "n008". |
