Guest | Im kinda n00b when it comes too War3 mapmaking comparing to what I read in these Forums!! I halted that Hero Line War map to make a more casual map!! (and not with hero and lots spells) Its a map almost like Pyramid Escape but alot more casual!! It has an Avatar system (c) where u choose a Avatar (Unit like a Zergling or Peasant) and then u choose a "special effect" (like unholy aura, spikes etc.) U then choose a game like in Pyramid Escape. After the game u go back too the chosing area and choose a game again etc. Its very casual u see!! Just play mini-games etc. Finished Stuff => Avatar System => Game Choose System Suggested Games => Open The Gates (Almost Finished) => Maze => Epic War => RC Racers Help => At the moment theres only one probabaly one im seem to fix. In Open The Gates if you select a Unit is should unpause!! But I cant get an event suitable for it!! Its the General Unit Event. Its says: Unit Is Selected But heres my dillema!! Under Unit its says preset and u can only choose 1 and that is "No Unit" and under Variable you can only choose the Unit, so by using the Avatar system the unit is not in the game in the beginning. SO HOW??? Can I do it!! => And In Maze how do you change the camera angle so its in third person and locker there!!?? If you any suggestions im more than welcome too accept it ( especially Mini Game suggestion) The map will only have like 4 games in the begin and Ill build it open that!! So at the mo' my map is like 25% complete. |

Guest | Soz!! I sorted it out by another event => Player event- Selection Event or somethin like that??!! So what do you ppl think of the idea?? If also started making own skins and an own Interface!! Looks kewl so far!! But still busy. Started on Epic War today.... Im gonna make the map more competitive and exciting, im gonna put in "Fun points" and "award points." If you win, or your team, win a game you get a certain amount of fun points and award points! If you have say... 20 fun points u win the game and award points r used to get more special effects and upgrades to your unit!!! |
