Modelers if you want job come here!

hi,i am doing a campaing and i need a modeler,the menbers of the campaing are:
-Me and timothor (the bosses)
-A terrainer(no decided yet,probrably ander(not in this site (i think ) )
-Lord of the beasts
-Windrunner
-Wallfly
-SamuraiPanda(just do voices,he realy dont want to join the team :stolen_emote: )
-RTM2
-And a Modeler (or modelers :P)!
Well here i want a modeler like you can see,when its decided that you gonna join i will give you the story of the campaing when its certain that you gonna join to my team
Modeler has to got this:
-a msn messenger (to talk)
-you have to post a sample of your work(only humans and undead)
-you have to be not very busy,we need you not busy( but anyways,post it if you want to be in :P)

Most likely because that was the wrong forum? The modeling forum is for modeling questions and so on, not recruiting. Anyway, you'll find that there aren't a whole lot of modelers running around looking to join teams, so it's kind of unlikely to get one, especially without showing what you've done so far. You could be better off just learning to do a few of the basic things yourself.

Well im trying to learn but that will take very time,i got the first map (80 done) whitouth the voices and terrain....And i need models to add more custom units and thing like that...........

Anyway, Sonny, you do know that Modellers are rare enough as they are, right? Don't expect one to be knockin' on your door when you're waiting. Also, it is also best to post some of your work yourself :)

In other words, if you need a modeler. You must do good job too. And you must show that you are working too. And you must show that your project won't die. Then you'll get a modeler.

I guess I'll be discussing with Dorelian soon about a new FAQ or something... this is starting to get madness.

An FAQ about what?

Regarding the positions of what people can hire, how rare they are, *how* people are supposed to hire people. Look as example, to one of the last 'Team Gathering' threads you've reacted to. Such a thread is not supposed to be here... or differently put, it is supposed to be more accurate in every way.

Just write a guide regarding how to make threads in these forums and how to recruit people. Sometimes, by looking at some threads, I'm really thinking of writing one and post it in the forums for people to understand how to gather teams...

People have been bugging me for months to create a FAQ like that. I promised I would make one the day I would retire from the forum which could be someday soon as I already found her.

But the point remains, Dorelian decides about such things, even though I am able to sticky threads he is the one who will eventually decides about it.

I don't know if you noticed, but there already is a good FAQ regarding it, somewhat old now, but the thread exists. My brother, administrator of the Animereactor forum, learned me once that sticky threads aren't read very often. Make a search regarding all threads I made (about 24 threads) one of them is called "Do you read stickies?" as I recall, the answer was pretty negative, but the answer was about 1 to 100 in the animereactor forum. All in all, when an announcement was made on that forum it was done in a normal thread with nothing special about it. Just saying the subject of the thread in the thread name like: "Release of ..." or something similar.
So I am still wondering who would read it... as an answer of someone (which name I can't remember, as usual) saying "And you expect us to read it?" isn't really giving me confidence either, even though it was meant as a joke.

Ah man... again I type too much which people want to write. Maybe I shouldn't write the FAQ and let you or Dorelian do it :P

I mean no offense, but if you write it, I suspect that 60% of the FAQ will be off topic... (no offense intended).

And it's true that few people read stickies. So you'll just have to do it like Xaran Alamas does. Thet title of all the stiucked threads in his forums are like:
"REEAAAD OR DIE!!!" or "READ THIS BEFORE POSTING, STUPID!!!"
Maybe you should to... :P

I guess you're right with the 60% off-topic though you don't need to be modest. Count on a much higher percent :P

Personally, I am not *that* harsh, to say such things as "read or die" (speaking of which, that's an anime, I voted a 7 or an 8 for that as I recall... or was it the sequal I voted an 8 for? eh...) but still, it does get the slight attention of people. Or perhaps I should wait until a somewhat "new" person creates a 'very bad' thread and hope for you and Dorelian to post on it as well ;)
