Hey, I was wondering how to make a unit have a strike through attack, like the glaive thrower where it hits units in a line. How do I do this with a hero? -Miningjrk |

Take a long, hard look at the attack settings for the glaive thrower and the vorpal blades upgrade. Off the top of my head, I think you have to set attack type to artillery (line), damage spill distance to a value greater than zero, area of effect damage to a value greater than zero. |

Guest | Is there a thread explaining what all the different settings for an attack do? -area of effect full/medium/small damage -area of effect max targets -damage factor vs. medium and small? (fragmentation shards and various artillery, does ??) -damage loss factor (used by huntresses, .50 for them) -damage spill distance -damage spill radius -max number of targets -range motion buffer? and last but not least... >.> -weapon type I suspect the last setting determines which of the other settings get used? |

ok, so say you add artillery line, how do you remove the "attack ground" icon completely? Can you just remove that ability with triggers? -Miningjrk |

No, you can't remove the attack ground ability without also disabling the unit's attack. I suppose you could try using the "Missile (Line)" weapon type instead of the artillery one, that might be better for you. |
