How to make black & white movie?

I think I saw a screenshot of one such cinematic. Anyone know how to do it? I suppose it is something to do with the filters, but I failed to identify which one.

Thanks in advance!

I don't know exactly how as I haven't looked into it much but it is through filters, probably something similer to how they did the red 'pain' filter in the TFT Undead campaign.

you can't do B&W cinematic, someone just edited the screenshot of a color scene.

Or maybe they skinned everything black and white, however thats time consuming, which many of us dont have. Filters cant really be melded to do that strong enough power.

Like curi said, the screenie was just edited... not hard to do at all in photoshop.

I see........ Slightly disappointed.
Can I at least make something close to it? Actually I'm try to make a cinematic about the past memory of the actor. Black & white movie would give the best effect. Though I also had the alternative of using the dream filter.

Yes, cince as i said its easy to do this in photoshop, extract the skins of all the stuff you are going to use and substract the collors, this comes with tiles too. (as you surely understand).

these are the extact steps...

extract *.blp----> convert image into something else (guess it comes witn the wc3 image editor) -------> open it in photoshop ---------> go to "image" ( at the toolbar) -------------------> then... hue/saturation-------> turn the saturation to 0 ------> press ok

Your skin/image should now be black and white... after this you should import the image... however you do this.

:god_help_us: damn how i like this idea :god_help_us: , but i guess its a catch with it...somewhere

Except for it not to look really weird you'd also need all the terrain, doodads etc to be black and white too :P

I just said... -.-
doodad skins go under "all the skins you need" same with tiles

This is going to triple the workload of doing my cinematics................. Nevertheless, I agreed this is probably the only method.......
