Might I change the names of computers?

I changed the names of computers,but it doesn't work any more><...When i changed the name AMAI will become doesn't work,but i had changed the name successfully on AMAI2.33.Why I cant change those name on AMAI2.40 ??

How do you change the names? Using the Strategy Manager to edit the profiles in the profile editor should be the best way and it should work always.
Or open the profile table with excel or some other able file editor and change names.

I used wordpad to change amai...but i failed in 2.40.I cant use strategy manager
><...I have download perl and the system of my computer is Windows XP.I cant open the strategy manager...I pressed buttom to open strategy manager but i can't open(strategy manager is in the 2.40AMAI DE patch,right@@?)How should i do><???

just download active perl, the MSI installer works fine and then after rebooting computer you can run the .pl files.
