head and chest are both valid attachment sites for the majority of units. Someplace on the site is a comprehensive list of valid attachment points for units and buildings. A search using actual attachment names (overhead, chest, etc) as search terms will probably find it.

instead of making a new topic, does anyone know why any model attached to a model i made are extremely huge? i followed the tut on making attachment points (box with origin Ref and attachment ticked on)

Attachment points are scaled when a model is scaled in the object editor or later, via triggers. So a 2x peasant (or more significantly, a red dragon, which is *already* scaled upwards) will have fairly large attached models.

It's also possible that the attached model has multiple forms and that the largest form is being used (many buff models work like this). One of the animation fields in the object editor dictates when a non-standard form of an attached model is used (cna't remember which without looking).

Finally, it's possible that the attachment itself is being scaled in the mdl. I'd say this is unlikely, though, if you're the one who made it in the first place.
