Guest | My icons never worked for this map. I got it from my brother and his map icons are visible. I tried deleting the map and re-downloading it from another person few times, nver worked- same grey icons - Tried re-installing wc3 too, no differ. then while i was playing one day the mini-map turned dark and now the rest of all my custom maps all of them the mini-map is darkened, looks different and you cant see details in it anymore. Details, man, details. We need to know more about what's going on, and what you're trying to accomplish. If "it" is screwed up for all your maps, it's almost certainly your installation of Warcraft 3 that's messed up. Backup your map and reinstall. |

probably a long shot, but it may be a windows problem, messing with your drivers. make sure your drivers are all up to date. video and sound are very important. i once wasnt able to play warcraft, only to find that it was a sound card problem, disabled and it worked fine. anyhow, just saying, dont overlook the hardware :) |

Guest | My ATI Radeon 8500 64mb card was running on 2001 drivers, got the 2002 drivers now and guess what, THE ICONS SHOW UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! man i had this new driver before too!! damn re-installs wipe you clean sometimes... life is a lot better now that I can see it. thanks for the clues, they worked. I need a new GPU, maybe after I get my car shocks fixed or when i blow the dam thing up... the PNY GeForce FX 5900SE would match my gills on overclock. THANKS CENNEV |
