Ok, I'm spitballing here (mainly cos I'm drunk off my tits, but whatever) but I have a suggestion, please vote for your oppinion... Do you think that aquiring resources via someother medium like aquesition points in Dawn of War would be a cool idea for this mod. I just wanna make it quite different from Rain of Chaos, and this seems like it's a step in the right direction. Btw, I wasn't joking about being runk, it took me about 30 mins to write this damn passage, so appreciate it. Lots of work is being down on DAG, we're just not releasing anything as of yet, it is undergoing some majour style changes. Remember, please voite ^_^ |

Well screw you all, if I like the idea, I'm gonna use it, regardless of what some snotty-nosed 12 year old forumer thinks :p BTW, I am quite sober now... |

You really gotta cut down on the booze, Challis. It seems that nearly every post you make is made while you are drunk. But yeah, that is an okay idea. I guess. |

Lol, I only visit this site when pissed nowadays, but don't worry, I do work on DaG when sober as well...a bit... |

What's this system supposed to be anyways? I don't understand. Never played Dawn of War. |

You capture a 'point'. It gives you recourses. I would say that you replace wood with this one, but keep gold. |

Really Great idea... You should try to make it ^_^ The Game is so cool ^_^ |

Eh…Probably a little late in the game for this, but I say this because I've always liked this one. I'd just go with the Dawn of War engine all together. It now appears to have the full editing package. http://www.3dgamers.com/news/more/1096480276/ Wearing hefty beer-goggles probably isnt such a bad idea here anymore. Everything's prettier and it hurts less when everyone mobs you for being a deserter or something. |

there's a deal of truth in this, the DoW engine is loads better, looks nicer, is more fun etc. Mind you, if I start modding DoW, it won't be Dwarves and Goblins |

I understand completely. How about “The Goblin Wars or “Goblins and Dwarves (GAD)? In the meantime I still look forward to playing DAG using the Warcraft III engine then. I'll also be trying to convert DoW into Fantasy like any other deranged Warhammer fanatic worth their salt. ![]() |

If anyone here is interested in Dawn of War modding btw, get over to http://www.thehubb.co.uk, cos they're already putting out some great stuff. Hope this doesn't piss off any admins, don't think it should, it's not advertising a competitor, it's for a totally different game |
