Hey, Is it possible, with triggers, to force the game to display a pre-existing (game play interface) error message. Like "Item cannot be dropped" or any of those? -Miningjrk |

Guest | There's a JASS snipet on wc3sear.ch that does just that. Except that the text won't be in the right place, because the area for displaying game messages starts above where the error messages usually show up... you can even localize it into the appropriate language, iirc. If I was going to do that, tho, I'd probably settle for just the error-message sound and the visual reinforcement of nothing happening. |

Unfortunately, that would be too low for what im doing, since its using an item. If you click an item and nothing happens when your in the middle of a tough situation, it can be tough to realize what happened. Therefore i want it to be crystal clear (plus it helps the noobies out there (new to my map)) Thanks though. -Miningjrk |

U could try making a dummy hero, and letting him drop an item you cant drop. This might display the error. |
