You can't just invent new features on existing spells. The spells have been detailedly coded by Blizzard programmers to do exactly what they do. The only way to expand the function of an ability is to use triggers, either to add more abilities as appropriate or to cause the extra results through actions or ordering casters. |

They will not. There's nothing broken, and changing spells to be unlimitedly flexible represents a major game-engine change, which would only benefit custom mappers and might even threaten the stability of melee, which is their primary concern. |

They could at least fix some more functions to the ability editor.... They have maded wacraftIII editable(with almost no limit)... why can't they do thesame with the spelleditor!?!?! It is still the warcraft3...!? I'll hope there will be any spell editor somewhere on the web.... ![]() |

Guest | You can make new abilities by going to abilities tab.In the object editor.you can add different effects/buffs from there. If there is something not there that you want go to effects/buff tab and make a new effect/buff. I Hope that this helps :P |

Hi... Well... i know that there is a buff/effect tab in the object editor... but i don't know exactly how it works.. If i use a stun effect in a spell.. does the targetted unit become stunned? And by the way..... ..is there any WE that is able to put negative numbers in the manareg boxes or somehing?? you know.. ..so the unit will loose (for an example) 1 mana each second.. |

You have no idea how customizable the spell editor is. You are seriously underestimating it. To give spells negative values, go to Preferences -> Allow Negative Values in Editor. It'll warn you saying something like "omg watch out!!1". Ignore that and press OK. |

Do you know more tricks that is useable in the WE? I have some problems.... I used UMSWE to create a map with big scaled obelisks and statues and of course other doodads.... ..but when i start the game and play the map... the doodads scaling size have been restored to 1.00..... why? and when i start the editor again the doodads is big again.... how to fix this??? :\ |

Hi again.... the real value trick works fine.... i've already tested it in a few of my maps... but there is still one thing that i wonder... Do you know a way to put negative values in the intreger fields in the object editor then?? i would need it.. ^_^ |

File>Preferences>General>Allow negative values Or hold shift when you double-click to change a value. |
