Units with tree models

Hi, I want to use some of the tree models on my units but its not working.

Heres what I tried...In world editor I tried copying the mdx path from a tree to my unit and it did not work. It said that it couldnt find the mdx file.

I also tried looking in the warcraft3 and tft mpq files and could not find the tree models in there so I'm stuck. Anyone know how I can get it to work? Thank you.

Tree models use dynamic skins, and the way to define the skin used is to input it in the appropriate field. However, units don't have that field, nor can it be enabled for them. So, use RodOfNOD's custom tree units:

I'll looking at the rodofnod custom trees but is there any way to export the trees from the game?

Yes. If you open that map with WinMPQ, you can extract his trees from it.
