Game Type: 2v2 Team 1: All-night elves Team 2: Night-Elves and Undead Map: Garden of War Replay: Available! See attachment. Why: AMAI 2.40 is very active, and they made a quick expansion at the middle unguarded gold mines. It has been a game where we spent less creeping at the start and end. Play has become like a DOTA-style, units come go. I also noticed everyone dynamically changing strats. Near mid-game we were faced with a lot of Undead Necros, and an, so I raced to get 5 dyrads. All Water Elems and skellies died quickly, thanks to Abolish Magic! :) Very handy spell for summons. And I really have to thank the Staves of Preservation -- on all my 3 Heroes! The staves also help me balance the experience each hero receives by sending a Level 5 hero back home when it's safe killing enemies. The staves also helped in fending-off harrassments. Whenever there are 2-ghouls attacking my base, I teleport one of my Chims to my base, they kill the ghouls for free exp! :) Later, my ally suicided (I didn't notice it needs another expansion), leaving me with in 1v2 warfare, but I still won!!! I survived by exploiting High Upkeep of 100-food army and gatherers. My opponents coordinated in making one big attack on my army near the center. But I'm in a better position, so I Starfalled them humans and undead! WHOOHOOH IT'S THE BEST STARFALL I'VE SEEN vs AMAI! After that battle, for some reason, they just give scattered attacks. So after the fun and adrenaline rush early to mid game, I enjoyed dominating the map and taking out all Red-Dot creeps, and get all premium items at the end-game. |

[quote=thenonhacker] Game Type: Big FFA Players: All Random Map: Any small Replay: No need Why: I love when there is a constant action and where AMAIs superior macro management can be used to win the game for them. This is the case in most FFAs played on small maps where anyone can rush you from anywhere so you have to pay attension to everything thats happening and be fast and agressive. Made a own small FFA map for this purpose once but I want to make more of them, perhaps start a special map section on AMAI site where we can keep some home made map specialised for fun with AMAI. |

@Zalamander: That's good news for me! Maps specially-made by AMAI Authors for AMAI! :) |

Only sadly that AI isn't included in replays :/ PS(Don't you answere PMs Quitch?) :) |

On the other hand luckily the AI is not included in the replays as how hard would debugging have been without that. |

hehe probably yes :) hmm is replays MPQ-files like maps? maybe it is possible to add the AI files to the replay files, never tried. |

Someone will need to explain the problem to me. Surely if the map file you used is located in the same location at my end, this is where the game will pull the AI from? And so long as I have AMAI installed for that map, in that location, all is well?? |

Yes it works most of time if you have the same version of AMAI installed on a map with exact same name in exact same position as the one saving the replay. But some times even in this case war3 rejects the replay for some unknown reason. The new Simple Edition of AMAI is probably a good way of making replays compatible since it don't require any map movement or modification, a replay made in Simple Edition should work fine for anyone else running same version of Simple Edition. |

Guest | Game Type: 3on3 Players: all random Map: (6)Ricefields Replay: No need Well I had a kind weird game. My Team intially rushed purple's base but before that my dh made the incoming orange dr to tp home (the range was about 2000 to 3000 away from it) after that i blocked some footies on their way to my base then I meet yellows army which is leading my army in the end of the fight to orange's Creeping party, i won both fights and orange's remainings retreated into the creeps of the market (so it took the direct way, it would have been no problem at night but its 1 at day) result = its dr, naga and the rest has been wiped out coz they had my army in the back. ^_^ (This wouldnt have been happened if orange would have been gone to purple's base) In the meanwhile blue backs my base up coz some of oranges Wyverns attacked my entangled mine. After this I planted 4 archers and 2 hippos in front of it and repaired the entangled mine. My hippos had a tough time vs the wyverns but my allies hadnt ^_^ so we finished purple's base and i was going to smack the yellow 1 with my chims the rest of my team has gone for the orange one and we achieved victory. As i watched the replay i also realized the my enemies also had their problems in coordinateing their movements as a team. ;/ |

@Quitch: Replay of my game now available! The exciting parts are: early and mid game. The end part is where I collect premium items from creeps (I've already won). @AMAI Team: Please take a look at how my ally behaved. It suicided trying to free up an expansion. Thanks! |

Game Type: 1v1 Me: Human Computer: Human Map: Lost Temple Replay: Available! See attachment. It's the first time I've seen a Paladin harass! And because I teched, it had been a tough early game! Paladin is almost unkillable. With Divine Shield and Potion of Invulnerability, it's hard to kill that hero that also heals Rifles! A best game for me, because I managed to recover. Another great comeback I've made. :) I could have surrendered early-game. They destroyed my quick exp. well. Mid-game, the AMAI sieged my main base with MANY Units! Good thing I prepared the best counter: Gryphon Riders and Hawk Riders. I could have lost this game without them. AMAI properly countered with Copters. Geez they killed my Hawk Riders! And a lesson hardly learned for me: Hawk Riders cannot use their magic rodeo rope on Mech flying units. In the siege, my Pally died, but I managed to save my poor Mountain King with 1-pixel of red HP. :) When I revived my Pally, I got my MK usable again. I got a Blood Mage with Flame Strike to counter their Rifles, and one Siege Tank to counter the Copters. Just like anyone else, I got Scrolls of Healing and Protection. I frequently recharged Hero mana with Clarity Pots, because the spells are always important, like Level 3 Storm Bolt, which is just so fun! Take note of how I used the Blood Mage as a mana recharger, too. I got his Siphon skill to Level 3 first and try it out vs AMAI (of course, Level 3 Flamestrike is the common choice). Now end-game, I gave AMAI a chance and I went creeping. And then surprise for me! AMAI got the best creep spots! AMAI is really agressive in creeping now! I made a strike at its 2nd expansion (I discovered accidentally). I had the best counters to its units, so I won the battle. Check out the Lightning Shield I cast during battle, gotta use them more often now. :) End-game I played the usual "creep all and grab all items" fun, and finally obliterated Aaargh's base. :) |

Where do you keep your AMAI maps (so I can ensure the same folder structure)? |

Yeah, but I'm not at home yet so if they tell me before then it saves me valuable seconds, and gives them the hint that they should have posted that in the first place ;) |
