HEro Frost Attack n Morph

:( this has me quite confused. I have created a hero with a Morph ability (based off robogoblin) that allows him to switch between melee and ranged attacks, and also a passive Frost Attack ability. For some reason, however, the frost effect does not work when i switch to the melee form. The frost effect returns when i change back to the normal ranged form, but never in melee. Any help?

Have you checked to see if the ability only works for ranged units? Try making the melee form a ranged attacker for the purposes of testing.

Otherwise, morph abilities have the option of disabling other skills when the unit is morphed, although it's not the default setting. Do you have other abilities on the Robogobline, and is he losing those as well?

Well, for the range and whatnot pretty much everything range and targetwise is set to be ambigouos. Range is set to 0, targets allowed are Air,Ground,Enemy, so it adapts to whatever unit has. The hero has a second hero ability, a healing spell, which functions normally when the hero morphs.

I'd don't quite understand. Could you more clearly explain what form has the Frost attack and what is the problem?

Do both the hero versions (ranged and melee) have all the same skills? Including the frost attack?

Also, if you based the frost attack off of Orb of Lightning, a morphing unit will lose it. :\

The frost attack is based off that of your average Frost tower, it's been given to both the melee and ranged forms. Also once i tried learning the Frost attack skill while he was in melee form, it didn't work but it worked for the ranged form again when i switched back. ;) on the bright side, i'm beginning to think that having frost for ranged only may add more strategic depth to the hero.
