Kain thus far.

My Kain skin (The guy in my avatar =P) looks mostly like a recolor, I know, but I'm trying to figure out exactly what he needs to look better (at least worth putting in the Skins section).

You can't see him from the back... unfortunately... and the only screenshot of him I have from (slightly) behind is here:

I was thinking about editing the cape abit more, and the shoulder pads slightly, and then figure out what kinda design I want for the chest plate... and the boots (at least the legs are scalemail now >>; )

Not bad, all you need is some more freehand, maby an X on his chest, or, i duno, something that atracts attention...
But overall not bad

You wanna post this in the finished textures gallery it dont belong here, and TheReaper, next time this happends tell people dont just give them comments, this place is for skinning help and discussion its not here to show off peoples skins

its the WIP (work-in-progress) forum too so it doesnt matter if its not finished. just keep that in mind next time, or maybe a mod will move it anyways.

'Not finished' might just happen to mean 'work in progress' as well, at least I'd have assumed the two would go hand in hand unless it's a dead project. (Of which it obviously isn't or I wouldn't be asking about it.)

Otherwise, thanks for the minor input, it's better than nothing at least, and certainly better than just assuming that it's a finished project for whatever reason.

He should have grey skin, grey hair and black armor.

I wasn't going for an 'undead' look, he's not a Death Knight.

Even though his armor is (mostly) black, notice that there's orange in there too (I've gotta change the chainmail leggings to the same color orange as I have on the trim) he's darkish, not evil.

Its the Kain from Blood Omen (Soul Reaver)??
