Guest | Just a new something I'm working on. Players 2-6 will be the Demons, players 8-12 will be the Scourge. I have gotten well into the making of this map, and have completed 3 of the 22 Heroes planned for the first verion. I have already hosted a beta version of the map, and have found a few things that need fixing and balancing. Tell you what; here are the Heroes for each team so far. Team 1: Demons Archdemon Primary Attribute: Strength Spells: Metri - Similar to Chain Lightning, but changed graphics, damage, and area of effect. Sonus - Mana Burn, basically. Unholy Aura - Upgraded to 4 levels, like the rest of the basic spells. Derma (Ultimate) - Fan of Knives, but changed graphics and higher damage. Other Notes: The names of the Archdemon's custom spells change with each level. For an example, Metri is Metriar at level 2, Matrius at level 3, and Metriusen at level 4. Druid of the Storm Primary Attribute: Intelligence Spells: Thunder Wave - Based off of War Stomp. AoE damage and stun. Looks pretty cool... Energetic Aura - Increases speed and attack rate of nearby friendlies. It looks as if the Hero has electricity all over him. Also cool-looking. Storm Crow Form - Take a guess. (Different levels decrease mana cost and cooldowns.) Weather Control (Ultimate) - Basically, it's Monsoon. BUT: It has a wide area of effect, and it spawns 3 wandering Tornadoes in the area at level 1, and 5 at level 2. I love to show this off in the public tests. Other Notes: This is a more original Hero; I probably put the most thought into his spells. He needs to be toned down a bit, however. Team 2: Scourge Felmage Primary Attribute: Intelligence Spells: Death Angel - Based off of Flame Strike. The beginning effect is the Resurrection <Caster> effect, though; an angel descending from above. The flames are replaced with the Reveal <Target> effect. It looks shiny! Thunder Attack - Based off of Storm Boly, only doesn't stun the target. Dark Sight - Faerie Fire. Decreases armor, grants vision, decent duration. Wave of Crippling (Ultimate) - Death and Decay. Same effect, but one wave. Takes 25% enemy health at level 1 and 50% at level 2. Other Notes: Nothing too special, really. I needed some kind of dark, inhuman... mage... thing. Coming soon is another Intelligence Hero, and I've already got a few of his spells planned. Don't worry, there will be Strength and Agility Heroes for both teams. The units, basic triggers, attack functions and whatever are all set up; the only things I have to do are Upgrades, Items, and the rest of the Heroes. Catch me on Battle.net some day (Tavaunum@USEast) and, if the map's in testing condition, I'll show it to you. |
