Interesting, for future refernce try putting up multiple screenshots if you want substantial feedback, because people can't see much of the terrain from one camera angle. It looks good, i like the idea you've got there, but as Sonny said above you need to a add fog as to show that the snow is coming down hard and that it is making an impact on the area. Also try adding some other doodads to the scene, because as youve found northrend shots need detail or they always seem like a big white wastland. Try adding little detail rather than larger things. It should fit your theme a lot better. |

all people have telent in terrain except me <sign> its nice I must say but , why is the river so ....clean? I dont mean its sopose to be polluted or anything but you could add some stones in the river near the shore so that it would look more natural |

terrain useing only a handfull of different doodads. my personal favourite all id suggest is having more of a pitch and roll angle on those rocks, have a greater variation in the size of the rocks, so you have a few large ones that act as focal point, from which all smaller rocks spread. useing the waterfall as a river method could pay off in this terrain, as its set in icecrown or northrend. the water is practicaly comlpeatly transparent. so the flat waterfalls should cover up the base of the river. finaly, id say just addd more rocks, to try and cover up the partialy floating ones |

Maybe my doctor was right and I'm going blind, but some of those rocks seem to be floating in the air. :\ Pitch and roll will fix that problem right up though. P.S. Post more screenies! more screenies = more feedback ^_^ I know Northrend is dead, but try adding some life to your terrain, like more trees. EDIT: Whoops, didn't read all of Gitlich's post |
