Guest | Hey people, new member here. Ok, Im kinda new to Warcraft Editor, but I think Im getting the hang of it. Anyway, Id like to know how to play a Standing animation for a unit. For example, I have several Ghouls who are cannibalising a corpse, and I know its one of the Stand animations. I remember that in the single player campaigns, these stand animations are used but I dont know how. |

The action is: Play (The ghoul that is gonna stand)'s STAND animation. stand is what animation the unit is doing. You can also use, attack, and death. This is a string, so you have to enter it. |

The best way I think is to animation- Add animation tag (channel) It is something like that. That way your ghoul will continually be eating. The problem with this is that if you want him to stop looking like he's eating then you would have to remember to remove the animation tag. |

WHat do you mean what kind of stand animation. He's standing. What else do you want him to do? STand on his hands? lol. There's only stand and stand victory (that i know of) |

Actually.... use the trigger play animation (specify rarity) There IS more than one stand animation btw. |

Guest | I just find it easiest to use the trigger that plays the animation, then write the animation in the box, just like it says to do on the trigger description. What did you expect you had to do? Twenty push-ups? Touch your toes a hundred times while hanging upside down from the ceiling? Or maybe this: :bangH: |

Guest | Ok look, there are several animations, all of which have the name STAND. Now I would like for the Ghoul to be doing the fourth STAND animation, which looks like hes eating a corpse, the problem is that all the STAND animations all have the one name, STAND. Peasants also have the stand animation, where they are carrying resources. |

add animation tag stand channel (or channel) to unit should work fine. its channel not a real stand subdivision like stand - 1... Hope this help, note that sometimes you have to wait 0.1 before adding animation tag and that your ghoul will start channeling every time she stops walking or attacking. |
