Hey, I have been doing some skins for a little while now, and I have made a good amount, but have only gotten one working. I am having troubles putting implementing my skins into WC. I don't know if it has anything to do with the skinning job I did, (possibly going out of the lines, if that affects the skin.) I skinned the Villager man as sub-zero, for fun. I imported it, set the path, Units\Critters\Villagerman\Subzero.blp Nothing worked. Check out the skin and tell me if I did something wrong on it or something... ![]() Please help. |

first off, when u import it it must be in a .blp format. Also, why is there a \subzero at the end? you must import it back in exactly weer you got it from, and im pretty sure that there is no subzero in warcraft. I believe, do not hold me to this, that the correct path is units\critters\villagerman\villagerman or you can put \villagerman1 at the end, there are two male villagers. |

No that didn't work. Anyways, the end of the path is villagermale or villagermale1, but I tried everything and neither worked, and anyways, you are supposed to leave the end of the path how it is I think. The name of the file is called subzero, and yes it is a blp format, so the end of the path is subzero.blp Can't figure out what I did wrong. |

Guest | The problem is that the file is named subzero.blp It should be exact as the name of texture u edited, and the same exact path! Then u know u should restart the editor too see how texture affects it. So heres right version of path: units\critters\villagerman\villagermale.blp Should work. Plz give rep ! I realy need it right now ![]() |

Wow dude, good call. Yes, I had to rename the file Villagermale, then import it, and it worked like a charm. Now I can skin and import with no problems. Thanks a bunch. I'll give you a rep point. Heres a in-WE screen shot. He looks cool! ![]() |
